Deck additions, repair, and remodels are among the services we provide here at Kehoe Kustom. To help you achieve your deck dreams, here are our top-rated decking systems and solutions for 2019.
We offer two high-quality decking systems: Azek and TimberTech. Here’s a little more about each of them.
AZEK
Wood decks can quickly weather and warp if you don’t invest a hefty amount of time and money into annual sealing or staining. Azek started in 2001, to provide a low-maintenance exterior trim that offered the benefits of wood without the expense or time-intensive maintenance. See Details of Azek products here.
Azek is top-of-the-line PVC, made without wood, so you won’t have to worry about pest damage, termites, rot, mildew, or mold. It is coated with Alloy Armor, which resists UV rays so your deck won’t weather or fade. The coating also protects against scratching which is great for active families and those with pets!
This synthetic decking still offers the look and feel of wood that’s so characteristic of Hudson Valley homes and comes in an array of colors. Rest assured the material doesn’t overheat and burn bare toes the way some composites do.
Azek offers several collections, from the Vintage line, engineered with board-to-board variations to look just like wood, to Arbor, which is inspired by exotic hardwoods. The Vintage Collection is now available in more widths, including narrow, standard, and wide.
TimberTech
TimberTech blends real wood with plastic for an authentic look with the durability and easy maintenance of a top-notch composite.
A green option, the planks feature recycled materials. And the decking is now available in narrow, standard and wide widths.
All TimberTech systems come with a 25-year limited warranty and a 30-year fade and stain warranty. Since the product is sealed by the manufacturer, there’s no staining or sealing required.
TimberTech offers four product lines: Check out details on product lines.
Terrain – Warm earth tones of brown oak, rustic elm, stone ash, sandy birch, and silver maple harmonize with nature.
Legacy – Cool ashwood, pecan, mocha, and tigerwood tones affect a hand-scraped look that’s popular for historic houses.
Tropical – Bold colors and striking grain variation mimics exotic hardwoods in hues of Amazon mist, Antigua gold, antique palm, and Caribbean redwood.
Edge – This is TimberTech’s newest line, and is a more affordable option for homeowners.
