From Decaying to Staycaying

When we first arrived on the scene, it was clear that this porch was in much need of some TLC. Without proper materials in our Hudson Valley seasons, outdoor living spaces can quickly decay in a short amount of time. Even with proper care from the homeowner, it’s impossible to keep up the rate of rotting wood in certain weather.

The homeowner wanted to maintain the same classic look but restore some of the original finishing touches. We opted for low maintenance materials that will outlast any storm for 2+ decades.

Design for Longevity

We removed all the existing rails, posts, and flooring to install fresh for this front porch. Finally we reinforced the floor frame. The homeowner selected Azek slate grey porch flooring, and the color looked stunning with the home and walkway. We updated structural posts and soffits to ensure that all colors matched well, the material was fresh, and everything was safely up to code.

Curb Appeal

It’s not every day that we get to add curb appeal! This classic front porch design combined with timeless columns and color selection makes for a beautiful home facade. Adding hardscaped walkways and landscaped shrubbery only makes the space more appealing!
