Refreshed Second-Story Sunset Porch

Project Brief

Kehoe Kustom,LLC got called to give this porch in Warwick, NY new life, and we did.   This project needed some serious attention, the staircase had already failed.  This left them without access for visitors to their front door, not cool.   Then what was left really did not fit the style the homeowners wanted.   Working with Krystal and Tom we navigated product selection and proposed a design to meet their needs.  This included a low maintenace finish, adding a second staircase, skirting to “dress up” the porch (not lattice) and low voltage lighting.   We went with Azek, they had just launched a new color “Mahogany” and paired with their white rail with black (aluminum) balusters we were on the right track.  Then utilizing their trim including T&G reversable beadboard and adding some post and cap lighting, we had the soloution.  They now have a beautiful and safe porch to welcome their visitors as well as sit, relax and enjoy their view.
